Granny and Papa’s water!

Posted by Chase on Jun 22 2009 | no comments

When we go to Granny and Papa’s house, there’s one spot – right before we get there – that there’s a clearing in the trees and you can just see the water peeking out. That’s Granny and Papa’s water. I like it.

That’s all.

Favorite shows

toystory

Just wanted to keep everyone updated with my TV schedule these days. I only get to watch one show a day usually, but these ate my favorite right now:
Chicken Little, Bambi, Dumbo, Atlantis, Lightning McQueen (I guess the real name of the movie is Cars, but whatever), Toy Story (my new favorite), and of course Thomas the Train. I haven’t really been watching Wonder Pets anymore. I don’t know whether I’m tired of them or I’ve outgrown them or what, but I just haven’t been watching them lately – I still play with my Wonder Pets toys though.

Anyway, just wanted you people to know what the cool things are these days.

Catch ya later

Did you want a shirt daddy?

Posted by Chase on Jun 20 2009 | no comments

When I wake up, I’ve kind of got a little routine. First, I’ve usually lost my binky at some point during the night so I need to call Mom to come help me find it. Once that minor disaster is averted, I can go snuggle with mom on the couch for a while. At this point I remember about Daddy! So I tell Mom that I’m going to go in and see Daddy and I crawl in bed with him for a few minutes. Finally, I’m ready to get up and play so I need to drag Daddy out of bed. So the first thing I need to do is get him dressed. That’s when I say, “you want a shirt daddy?” and I go into his closet and pick one out for him! He even usually wears the one I pick out. Now if I could only reach where he keeps his pants, I could dress him just like me!

Couple more minutes…

This is what you need to learn how to say to your parents. It’s a very universal phase. You can use it when you’re supposed to leave the park, or when they want you to come inside, or – my personal favorite – bedtime. No, it pretty much never works, but it doesn’t hurt to try!

Me and Hannah!

This is my good friend, Hannah.  We play together a whole lot.  But, today I got to go to her house all by myself (Mom had to go see a doctor). Susan (Hannah’s Mom) had really fun things for us to do.  We played play-doh and ran around and played chase in her yard.  Susan took this picture of us- Mommy really liked it!

Here are some pictures of me and my good friends.  You probably remember them from some of my older posts.  My friends and I have always played together, or by each other, but lately we are playing together- laughing and talking and doing all kinds of crazy things.  I have really nice friends- and I get excited every time I go to see them- which is a lot.  I hang with my peeps a few times a week- and it never matters where we are- the good times just roll.

The sky is falling!

I love saying that! Yeah, it’s a line from one of my favorite movies, Chicken Little, but I love the look on everyone’s faces when I say it out of nowhere. I like to quote some of my favorite lines from movies and songs when people least expect it. Another one of my favorite lines is, “I need soda!” That’s another one from Chicken Little. Oh, and the theme song, “One little slip..”

Another favorite past time is singing my favorite songs at the top of my lungs! Some of my favorites to sing are:

One little Slip (aka- my Recipe for Disaster)

Thomas and His Friends

Don’t go Breaking my Heart

Hot Dog (form the MIckey MOuse Club House)

Kidz Bop- Hey there Delilah.

I love music!  It inspires me.  My favorite soundtracks are-

Chicken Little (obviously)

Cars

Wonder Pets

Return to Pooh Corner (This one was a gift from Aunt Joan, she gave it to Mom before I was born.  I guess my cousins listened to it when they were little.)

I usually just want to hear one song on each soundtrack over and over.  As soon as my song ends I say, “again.”  It drives Mom crazy!

Gotta dance!

To grandmother’s house we go…

More about my vacation…

After we left Phoenix, Mom and I drove over to California to see Grandma and Grandpa Fossey.  Grandma was all ready for us- she had yummy snacks, toys, books and even some Thomas the Train shows for me to watch.  It was pretty awesome.  And, while Grandpa was only able to hang out with me for a little bit (he had to travel for work) it was sure nice to see him- he even went shopping and picked out some really cool construction trucks, just for me! Mom and I still take those trucks to the beach and park to play with in the sand.

Grandma pretty much spoiled me to death! She loves to play with me and give me my way! She is really good to me, she is so good to me that I even let her give me lots of hugs and kisses.  I ended up getting really sick while I was visiting and Grandma took really good care of me while Mom went out with her old friends.  It was so nice to get to go and have Grandma take care of me and watch after me.  Mom even said she wished Grandma lived closer so that she could help us out more often- I think the vacation was a s nice for Mom as it was for me.  Mom was pretty carefree when we were there.  I guess Grandma took care of Mom when Mom was my age- and so Mom knew I was in good hands.  Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for taking care of us and playing with me! We love you both very much!

PS- and thanks for sending some pictures for us!  (Mom was very lazy with camera on this whole vacation- grandparents had to supply us with all of our photos.  I guess as it gets harder to follow me around, Mom is not carrying her camera as much- rude!)

1003

We are having lots of fun this spring.  I went on a great vacation- which I still have more to tell you about, but- I am waiting on Grandma Fossey for pictures- and I have to download some of my own from the beach vacation with Papa. (I am not as on top of things as I have been in the past, life is harder and I find myself on the go.)  Anissa’s Mom took these photos of me and my friends at the park last week and I wanted to post them.

I am an outdoorsy guy- I love fresh air, sunshine and nature!  We have already been on great nature hikes, playing outside on bikes and in the garden, combing the beaches and enjoying the wonderful parks the Northwest has to offer.  This is going to be the best summer ever!
